Thank you for choosing to donate to BEFSA. You can do this in one of the following ways:

  • You can use our safe and secure donation service and pay by credit or debit card by clicking here

  • You can set up a monthly direct debit and make regular donations to BEFSA by clicking here

  • If you do not wish to donate online, you can send us a cheque to either of the addresses on the Contact Us page


  • If you are a UK TAX payer, you will be able to gift aid your donation whichever way you decide to make your donation. By clicking on either of the first two links above you will be directed to the gift aid facility. If you decide to send us a cheque please attach it to one of our leaflets which includes a gift aid section, or simply attach a short letter with your donation requesting your donation to be gift aided. Remember you need to be a UK tax payer to use this facility.

    Unsure of how much to donate?

    The list below shows you what your money will buy:

    £25 will pay one pupil’s school fees for a year
    £100 will provide 5 students with a science text book
    £250 is a month’s salary for a classroom assistant
    £350 will buy a sewing machine to enable a school to make school uniforms, track suits and sweat tops
    £500 will feed ALL the pupils at one of the primary schools for a term
    £1500 will provide a school with a new classroom and toilet facilities
    £2500 will pay for a container of school furniture and equipment to be shipped from the UK to schools in South Africa
    £2500 will enable a school to participate in BEFSA’s planned distance learning initiative using satellite technology
    £750,000 will provide a community with an extended school to include a primary school, a health clinic, an early years and child care centre, a community centre and adult education facilities
